About the project:

With the financial support of the European Union Program for the Development of Democracy and the Protection of Human Rights, the implementation of the project “Promotion of equal economic opportunities and sustainability of youth” in the Kyrgyz Republic has begun. The project is implemented by the European Neighborhood Council (ENC) jointly with the Public Association “”Internet Society Kyrgyz Chapter”” with the assistance of the Delegation of the European Union in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The goal of the project is to provide knowledge of the work of the digital and green economy to young people and women living in rural regions of the republic. This project provides for holding information events to increase the level of digital literacy in cooperation with the media and social networks, adapting and developing educational and methodological materials with representatives of the education sector, as well as conducting joint initiatives with representatives of the digital economy and government agencies to train young people to work in digital platforms in the e-government, e-commerce and digital economy sectors.

The project plans to purchase office furniture (desktops, office chairs, office chairs) in the amount of 30 pieces. In this connection, please send commercial offers with the image of desktops, office chairs and office chairs costing up to 14,000 soms. Based on the submitted commercial proposals, a tender will be drawn up.

About the project:

The goal of the project is to provide knowledge of the work of the digital and green economy to young people and women living in rural regions of the republic. This project provides for holding information events to increase the level of digital literacy in cooperation with the media and social networks, adapting and developing educational and methodological materials with representatives of the education sector, as well as conducting joint initiatives with representatives of the digital economy and government agencies to train young people to work in digital platforms in the e-government, e-commerce and digital economy sectors.

According to the results of bilateral meetings and a letter from the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the priority area in terms of digitalization is the training of rural youth in digital skills aimed at mastering international and local digital platforms and tools that increase their working capacity.

Based on the above factors, NGO Kyrgyz Branch of the Internet Society” announces a competition among interested parties for the provision of services for the adaptation of video materials “Mobile Internet Skills Training Toolkit” (MISST) into Kyrgyz and Russian languages, according to the following terms of reference.

Tasks and Scope of work:

As part of the terms of reference, he translates the materials of the “Mobile Internet Skills Training Toolkit” (MISST) into Kyrgyz and Russian, supplementing with local examples

Translation and adaptation of video (recording on audio translated materials and processing, overlaying on video) materials from English into Kyrgyz and Russian

Expected results:

Upon completion of the task, the contractor must provide:

Development of a green economy curriculum for higher education in Kyrgyzstan

The project “Development of a green Economy curriculum for higher education in Kyrgyzstan”, within the framework of the Sanarip Insan project, started on November 20, 2021 and was implemented on the basis of the M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz University of Economics.

The project team has developed an educational and methodological complex of continuous learning based on the Lifelong learning model “Fundamentals of green Economy”, which includes 5 modules on the topics: “Green Economy”, “Environmental Law”, “Circular Economy”, “Waste Management”, “Sustainable Marketing”. Based on these lectures, 20 video lectures were filmed. The existing economic curriculum around the world with an accessible innovative green economy and the practice of education in the field of sustainable development, the choice and implementation of appropriate methods for the development of the green economy were investigated.

This program has been implemented and tested at the economic faculties of the M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz University of Economics, which is responsible for the development and implementation of economic education in the country. Within the framework of the project, 30 teachers, 394 students were trained in this course.
At the end of the developed UMK, 1 two-day training was held on the ZOOM platform for teachers and students, 42 teachers and 40 students from 6 universities of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the training. The developed complex has been integrated into the students’ learning process as a modular course, and will also be used as lifelong learning channels using new digital capabilities.

The developed course is posted on the website http://greeneconomy.su/detail/6 and it is freely available to everyone, a video recording of all sections of the textbook was also made in the form of 20 video lectures, which will also be posted on the IlimBox platform and Youtube channel.

With the financial support of the European Commission European Neighborhood Council in partnership with the Internet Society Kyrgyz Chapter Public Association is planning to implement a 30 month project “Promotion of equal economic opportunities and youth resilience” in Kyrgyz Republic.

The aim of the project is to provide knowledge of the work of the digital and green economy to young people and women living in rural regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Qualification requirements

University degree in a relevant field.

2-3 years of demonstrated experience in grants award and grants management. Relevant experience working with international donors

Management policies and procedures required.

Strong verbal, written communication skills / Organizational skills

Skills in recruitment, logistics and procurement

Proficient computer skills (word, excel, power point)

English, Kyrgyz and Russian language fluency required

Travel within Kyrgyz Republic and in the region possible

Duties

The Grants Manager will be based in in Bishkek and will assist the Project Coordinator in the program’s grants portfolio and compliance with European Commission, European Union and ISOC rules and regulations

Assist in the process and development of calls for proposals and participate in subsequent review processes

Analyze and evaluate grant applications and vendors, proposals and awards to ensure adherence to grants management Policies;

Measure grantee financial and management capacity and propose implementation strategies

Develop and analyze budgets for allowability, allocability and consistency for proposed activities in coordination with the proposed local partners. The Grants Manager will ensure adherence to budget lines, quantity and frequency/period of performance are in line with activity design.

Monitor the grant financials to ensure that grant expenditures are in accordance with the grant ceilings. Take proactive steps to ensure compliance.

As necessary, perform site visits to monitor Grantee’s Performance;

Monitor the activity implementation both through site visits, online and offline audits and regular communication with grantees.

Negotiate, justify and seek approval for salary rates for local partner personnel and independent consultant agreements.

Provide regular updates for staff on grant implementation.

Draft grant-related correspondence (letters of receipt, rejection letters, close-out letters etc.).

Travel to regional areas and work independently to monitor activities

Travel within Kyrgyz Republic and in the region as required
