Reliability of information

Can I trust the information published on the Internet?

Control over the reliability of the information obtained as a result of the search is not only possible, but also necessary. It would be very stupid and naive to trust everything that is written on the Internet, because the Internet is a free access zone, and everyone can take part in filling it out.

What is media literacy?

If literacy in the broad sense of the term means not only the ability to read and write in the proposed language, but also the ability to write in accordance with established standards of grammar and spelling, then media literacy is the ability to understand and analyze the media. Information literacy adds to this a set of skills for working with information – its classification according to specified criteria, collection, filtering, sorting from one form to another, presentation in accordance with specified parameters.

Professions of the future

Professions of the future

Today, professions and professional competencies are changing very quickly. The principle of “learning throughout life” has become more relevant than ever. If earlier it was considered a success to show one job in the work book, now such an indicator confirms that a person is not ready for a rapidly changing world. If you do not master a profession that meets the demand of the future, you may be replaced by robots or artificial intelligence, which may leave you unemployed in the future.

On July 1 at 10:00 an online webinar “Professions of the Future” was held, where Aziza Mamatkulova, program manager of the public association “Youth of Osh” acted as a webinar speaker. Has experience in the field of civic education. During her work in this area, she worked directly in programs on civic education, the basics of human rights, democracy, the rule of law, the electoral process, developed training modules and programs, their distribution, inclusion in the field of non-formal and formal education.

Atlas of professions

According to the Ministry of Education, the total number of school graduates this year is about 68 thousand people. At the moment, they all face a meaningful decision, which profession to choose, what is its relevance and whether it is possible to grow and develop through it. In this case, the Kyrgyz Internet Society on June 27 held an online webinar for applicants with the aim of informing and supporting.

The speaker of the webinar was an adult education specialist, youth affairs specialist, trainer Azhara Kamalieva. She has more than 10 years of experience in educational projects with young people in the system of formal and non-formal education, and also has 7 years of experience in developing successful project proposals in the field of non-profit organizations. In her work, she uses interactive methods to develop curricula for young people.
The online webinar was open to applicants, teachers and parents from all over the country. The main broadcast took place on the Zoom platform, which was also broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube.
