If literacy in the broad sense of the term means not only the ability to read and write in the proposed language, but also the ability to write in accordance with established standards of grammar and spelling, then media literacy is the ability to understand and analyze the media. Information literacy adds to this a set of skills for working with information – its classification according to specified criteria, collection, filtering, sorting from one form to another, presentation in accordance with specified parameters.
