General information
The Kyrgyz Chapter of the Internet Society is a non-profit organization founded in Bishkek in 2016 to improve Internet connectivity in the Republic. The goal of ISOC Headquarters and the local office is dedicated to creating a “Healthy Internet for Future Generations”. Over the past five years, ISOC Kyrgyzstan has conducted a study on Internet connectivity, created sustainable community networks in Suusamyr, delivered the Internet in boxes to the most remote schools, and created the Ilimbox educational platform. Currently, the ISOC Kyrgyz chapter intends to establish community networks in Enilchek, Kyzyl Oy and Zardaly in the Kyrgyz Republic. ISOC provides advice on the implementation of innovative connectivity models in Central Asian schools through the GIGA Accelerate project. ISOC plans to provide the country’s civil society with more cybersecurity and data protection solutions. As part of one of the components, a social media specialist is required to increase public awareness of the organization’s projects, digital literacy issues, digital professions, digital detox through the active posting of stories, posts on Instagram / Facebook, making and posting videos on Tiktok.
Requirements
Qualifications
At least 2 years of professional experience in social media is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Writes and speaks well in Kyrgyz and Russian
Experience in leading social media pages on Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook
Proficiency in PC (Word, Power Point, email), smartphone (mobilography, camera)
Initiative and ability to work independently
Responsibilities
Preparation and implementation of the project communication content plan
Daily content preparation and maintenance of relevant pages on Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok (stories, posts, videos, videos, announcements)
Development of joint communication activities with the team
Terms
Part-time job with office work, coffee/tea, opportunity to participate in new projects of the organization. The Administrative Manager will manage and coordinate day to day administrative and logistical activities of ISOC Kyrgyzstan Chapter. ISOC runs several paralell projects run by team leaders, project managers with each requiring its own similar set of the administrative activities. Projects related to digital skills, internet connectivity, cyber security, school connectivity, digital literacy, research in technologies, artificial intelligence, advocacy and policy advisory.
Qualification requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.

Duties
Support Management in coordinating required repairs and maintenance of office equipment.
Preparing organizational documents, minutes, follow ups, project letter templates in powerpoint, word, etc.
Responsible in organization of project-related events, conferences, workshops, staff meetings, and general meetings,
including dissemination of background documents.
Arrange travel and hotel reservations, prepare travel authorizations, process visa requests for the international staff of the project.
Preparing monthly human resources documents (timesheets, certificates of work completion, etc)

General information
With the support of the European Union Program for the Development and Protection of Human Rights on the example of the project “Promotion of factors of economic activity and stability of youth” in the Kyrgyz Republic. The project is being implemented by the European Neighborhood Council (ENC) together with the Public Association “Internet Society Kyrgyz Chapter” with the assistance of the Delegation of the European Union in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The aim of the project is to provide jobs and a green economy for young people and women living in the regions of the Republic. This project provides for carrying out information activities to increase the level of digital literacy in the congregation, as well as raising awareness and need for networks, adapting and developing educational materials taking into account the frequency of education, as well as carrying out activities to increase the level of digital platforms in sectors of relevant parameters, e-commerce and digital economy.
Requirements
The potential candidate must:
know the Kyrgyz language, because 80% of materials in Kyrgyz language
