“Sanarip Insan” supported two more startups with a total fund of 600,000 soms

On November 10, 2023, the final of the startup project competition ‘Sanarip Insan’ took place at the Innovation Center with a total prize fund of 27,500 euros or 2.6 million soms.

The startup project competition ‘Sanarip Insan’ was held on the theme: ‘Expanding the opportunities for youth, especially young women, in using advanced digital knowledge and skills to create business projects with insufficient capital,’ aimed at developing and supporting sustainable business models that impact, among other things, the socio-economic life of the population in small towns, rural areas, and among farmers.

Kyrgyz citizens aged 18-35 could submit their ideas in four directions:
IT solutions;
Education;
E-business;
AI.

After defending their startup projects by all participants, the jury members identified the best 8 startup ideas and awarded the winners with certificates for financial support, as well as commemorative gifts.

On December 27, after reconsidering the applications, the remaining 600,000 soms in the prize fund were decided to be awarded to the following teams:

Nurkyz Karypova ‘Techno Girls’ – 260,000 soms
Kadyrova Takhmina ‘Oygonuu’ – 240,000 soms
Adatova Aruuke ‘Kyrgyz Boek’ + 100,000 soms (total 250,000 soms)

Eldor Daliev, head of the project “Find a job anywhere in the world in Kyrgyzstan via Youtube + Instagram”, is one of the winners of the Sanarip Insan startup competition.

The project “Find a job anywhere in the world sitting in Kyrgyzstan through Youtube + Instagram” refers to the sphere of education. This project will organise an offline, online 2-month course on opening a proper YouTube channel (English, Kyrgyz language channel), development (also a page in Instagram will be opened), promotion of personal brand, for the development of each new business on YouTube, learning how to earn extra money through YouTube. Unemployed citizens interested in this field can also find a job if they learn how to use the platforms correctly.
Anyone can work from anywhere in Kyrgyzstan and even the world if they have internet. The course will also provide knowledge on developing Youtube, Instagram, publishing useful videos, finding clients through Youtube, Instagram, business development. Thanks to this knowledge every person over 18 years old will be able to work as a YouTube manager, Instagram manager, SMM specialist.

The course on YouTube and Instagram opportunities is available online and offline throughout Kyrgyzstan.
It is possible to earn extra money through YouTube, being on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. To do this, you need to open a proper, interesting, useful channel on YouTube, prepare and upload a video. After the Channel will gain 1000 subscribers, 4000 hours of views, an application form will open to add to monetisation.

The course on YouTube and Instagram opportunities works throughout Kyrgyzstan in online and offline mode.

We are currently planning to go global after Kyrgyzstan.

Feedback from participants of the training for trainers

“The Internet Society Kyrgyz Chapter,” with financial support from the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic under a project aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and small business development in the regions, conducted a two-day offline training on November 16-17 in Bishkek. The training aimed to prepare participants from 10 regions of the country to become selected trainers and experts in the field of “Digital Tourism”.

During the training, participants enhanced their knowledge of Digital Tourism and will now share their expertise with youth, girls, and guest house owners as part of the Sanarip Insan project.

Ernist Aidarali uulu, the head of the FilterFish project, is one of the winners of the Sanarip Insan startup competition.

The FilterFish project is an underwater equipment. Every year the number of people dying from drowning is increasing, we can contribute to the prevention of such problems with this equipment, and in various water bodies it is possible to clean lakes from chemical substances with the help of a filter. Studying historical sites underwater to quantify aquatic creature species.

Nurzhan Taalaibekova, head of the project “Digital Educator”, is one of the winners of the Start Up competition “Digital Personality”.

The project is aimed at improving the qualifications of English teachers and teaching English to schoolchildren.

Nurzhan Taalaibekova won the final pitching with a score of 93.6 points.

Gulira Turat kyzy is one of the winners of the “Sanarip Insan” project stratap competition

On November 10, 2023, the Innovation Centre hosted the Final of the Sanarip Insan Startup Project Competition with a total prize fund of €27,500 or 2.6 million soms.

Gulira Turat kyzy, head of the project “Digital guest house”, is one of the winners of the Sanarip Insan startup competition.

1.Nomadsanarip Guest House Association (guest house network) will be established in Naryn oblast to provide guest house services to clients. The project also provides counselling services on improving digital and compliant guest house accommodation, starting and running a business, and sustainable development.

2.Registration of youth, young families and anyone interested in opening a guesthouse in Ak-Talin and At-Bashi districts of Naryn province (maximum 25 people).

3.Participants are provided with free training on opening, operation, attracting tourists, running the business of the guest house; at the end of the training participants open a guest house and begin to provide services to receive tourists. (the guest is responsible for compliance with the standards of the house, sanitary norms, installation of sanitary facilities, etc.).

4.A base of guest houses will be created, a co-operation agreement will be concluded with tourist companies of the capital and Issyk-Kul, Chui, Naryn stations, a unified website will be developed. (This website will include information about the address, photos, conditions and services of guest houses. Also the owners of guest houses will receive tourists through this site and follow their itinerary.

5.This project will create an additional source of income for 20 young families in Naryn oblast and will improve the quality of service of guest houses in Naryn region.

6. The project will establish an association “Nomad Digital Guest Houses” (guest house network) to provide guest houses with customers. The association provides services to the guesthouses for a fee. Each tourist is charged 10 per cent.

7.The services of Nomad Digital Guest Houses Association for the guest house business are provided on a fee basis.

“The Internet Society Kyrgyz Chapter,” with financial support from the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted a two-day training aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and small business development in the regions. The training focused on digital tourism and aimed to select and train participants from 10 regions of the country to become trainers and experts in this field.

Future trainers and experts in “Digital tourism” were provided detailed information on platforms such as Google Business, Google Maps, 2GIS, Booking.com, and digital marketing such as WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook, Airbnb, Shelter, Travelline PMS, Edelweiss PMS.

At the conclusion of the two-day training, all participants received certificates. Following the training, each participant signed a cooperation agreement with the Digital Citizen Project. 

They committed to sharing their knowledge with youth, women, and others in their respective fields, as well as assisting them in registering on the aforementioned platforms.

At the final pitching Aruuke Adatova scored 83.2 points and received financial support for the realisation of her startup project.

“Sanarip Insan” launches a two-day course on “Digital Tourism” for regional trainers

A two-day course on “Digital Tourism” for regional trainers will be held in Bishkek on November 16-17.

The Sanarip Insan project selected 10 trainers from Kochkor-Zhumgal, Talas, Chon-Alai, Jalal-Abad; Ton, Tyup, Batken, At-Basha, Chuya and Naryn with digital skills and organizes two-day training for them to deepen their knowledge.

The trainers will be Nazira Miinekeeva, an expert on the development of “digital tourism”, who will teach the skills of using Google Business, Google Maps, 2GIS, Booking.com Instagram Facebook, Airbnb, Shelter, Traveline PMS, Edelweiss PMS, and Fariza Chilmergenova, a trainer and digital marketing expert who will give professional knowledge on WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook.

All 10 participants sign a cooperation with the Sanarip project, stating that they will share their knowledge with the youth and women of their region, help them improve their economic well-being with the help of digital skills.
