ISOC Kyrgyzstan Chapter in partnership with KG Labs Public Foundation delivered practical roadmap for ICT development of Osh city and Osh oblasty.
In order to develop roadmap team of consultants conducted analysis of all ICT players in the country (companies, individual entrepreneurs, freelancers), composed current situation and needs assessment with detailed SWOT analyses, inventory of existing infrastructure and services, stakeholder analysis as well as analysis of relevant government policies / programs and framework conditions, and their potential relevance for the ICT Technopark. Based on collected data, interviews and expertise, team developed tools and mechanisms to popularise ICT among youth, mapped all stakeholders and their interactions, and provided clear vision for ICT development in the city of Osh and Osh region.
Presentation of report will be conducted both in Osh and Bishkek cities for key stakeholders. The report and operating plan is delivered to GIZ Nawi team and local municipality of Osh city.
